[SFM TF2] Evolution in 1500 Hours

I made it everyone! I've played TF2 for 1500 hours, that might not be a big deal to most, but I find it exciting! X3

It all started out after I got TF2 at around Christmas of 2014. After watching MvM videos on Youtube for months, I knew I wanted to be Engie and I got into the class rather quickly. Proving myself through tough pushes and defenses until I received the dreaded Gibus and pyro goggles by accident. ^^' Like most new players, I had no idea the implications of the hat and goggles will be on me. Then in March I got my first steam card and bought items in the Mann Co store and I've got the Mann Co cap and a few keys. I bought some crates in the community store and opened them. I got my first cosmetic for Engie, the Insulated Inventor and wore it ever since. I played MvM, played on Pony Fortress and Heroes, and learned pretty quickly how to play the game.

By the time the first major update, Gun Mettle, came about I felt like I knew as much as a 2,000 hour player. I met some fun people and learned so much from them that I was determined to prove that being a F2P isn't something to be ashamed of. (of course it's a stupid insult anyway since almost 75% of the player base now is F2P anyway. ) But trying to put that into practice was more difficult than I fantasied, I still made mistakes and I learned quickly from them. After Gun Mettle came The Invasion update came up where I got more items and even my first unusual as well as stranges from friends and from the market. After Invasion came Tough Break and after that Meet your Match.

Now here I am at 1500 hours. Feels good reaching it when I've been slowing down on TF2. I still want to play but it's not fun without having a companion around for the ride. XD Whether it's beating Two Cities on MvM, goofing off at Poniponiponi, getting frags at 2Fort, or just proving to be the better player on Casual, I hope to make it to 2000 hours next.
